InVoyage is a networking event for senior event planners and luxury venues for high end luxury travel. All the flights were sponsored by Emirates and this year’s destination was Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, where the beautiful luxury Wardof Astoria hosted all 200 buys and suppliers for the four-day event.

I recently attended an annual industry event, The Meetings Space organised by ‘Seriously good MICE business forums’. This year’s event was held at the Waldorf Cavalieri Hotel in Rome.

The clue is certainly in the strapline, ‘Seriously good MICE business forums’, which sums up the event in one sentence. Having attended other business forums in the past, this one positions itself above the rest due to the professionalism of the team, the top-notch organisation pre-event and onsite, and the quality of the buyers and suppliers who attend.

IMEX, the worldwide exhibition for incentive travel, meetings and events brings the global meeting industry together twice a year - in Frankfurt and Las Vegas. In May this year I attended IMEX Frankfurt. This was the first time I have visited this particular show and for first timers it can be quite overwhelming as the venue is vast and there is so much to see and do over the 2 days that I was there. Having attended other trade shows luckily I knew what to expect!
