September sees us start our 19th year in business at Lime Blue Solutions, which we are delighted to have achieved especially considering the complications of the past couple of years!...

I was thrilled to be selected to join Lime Blue Solutions in November 2021...

As we hurtle towards  the end of 2021; a second challenging year for many in the events and hospitality industry,  I have been reflecting on the art of collaboration and how important it has become this year. 

Working together and having good solid relationships with our clients, our teams, our suppliers and our competitors can overcome or certainly help to ease a number of challenges that the industry is facing at this time with staff shortages, shipping, customs and the overall supply chain.

The Covid-19 pandemic has been a further eye opener in regards to sustainability, especially for the event industry. It has forced organisations to reassess their planning processes in order to create more sustainable in-person events going forward.

Just wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself...

Thoughts on the lockdown easing...

Well what a year it’s been. The words I would use to sum up those first few weeks in March 2020 would be  bewildering, frightening and unimaginable...

I am delighted to have joined the Lime Blue team and learn of their exciting projects, past and present...

Our Creative Director, Clive Miller gives us a light-hearted look into his typical day in lock-down. 

This lockdown period is an extraordinarily difficult period for everyone and we cannot be sure of the longevity and size of the impact it's going to have. But, it is amazing how the little things around you can really help to keep a sense of normal during this abnormal time. I have also found some solace in having to stimulate my creative mind in a different way by drawing from the natural environment I now have more time to appreciate. I am so thankful for the immediate team around me, our suppliers and customers who have shown resilience and support to us all.

As the world around us is being locked away and fellow colleagues are having to work from home we thought we would share our top tips on working from home and how to make it less daunting for those that are not used to it and may be feeling anxious.

At Lime Blue we are making sure we have our virtual coffee at 10 o’clock every morning via video call. This sets us up for a good start to the day, checking in on how everybody is, what their work plans are for the day and most of all it is nice to see some friendly faces.
