About Us
Lime Blue Solutions was created in 2004 by Nicola Miller and Michelle Boyt who share extensive education, experience and passion for the hospitality industry. The company has developed into a full service venue finding and event management agency incorporating Symbius, our associate multi-media design agency who are based within the same offices. We are a preferred supplier to a number of blue chip multi-national companies and work within many specific industry guidelines such as HCC, ABPI and HSSE . Our staff are fully trained to use specific industry software for monitoring and reporting purposes which is a requirement for some clients.

Nicola Miller
Director
Nicola has always been passionate about the hospitality industry ever since reading Kane & Abel at the age of 14! She has a BA Hospitality Management Degree from Bournemouth University and did her initial training with Forte. Nicola has had varied roles in the industry including running a 3AA restaurant in Cheltenham, event management for a company in Jersey and Sales and Revenue Manager at the Compleat Angler in Marlow where she met Michelle prior to setting up Lime Blue Solutions in 2004.

Michelle Boyt
Director
Michelle was initially drawn to the glamorous image of the hospitality industry whilst studying at college. This illusion was soon shattered when the reality of making beds and working the 6am breakfast slot kicked in as a management trainee. It was a whole decade later, and working alongside Nicola at The Compleat Angler which finally provided the inspiration to create Lime Blue Solutions.

Johanna Potkin

After completing a degree in Spanish and Music at Exeter University, Jo began working in the Conference Office at the Compleat Angler Hotel, Marlow, where her passion for the hospitality industry was fuelled by colleagues surrounding her.
Leaving the Compleat Angler in October 2006, after reaching the position of Revenue Manager, Jo joined Lime Blue Solutions taking the team to three. Since then she has become an integral member of the team, responsible for the venue finding, event and account management for a number of key clients including Janssen-Cilag, Business Research Group, Wyeth and Research in Motion.

Kate Fleming

Kate has always been passionate about the hospitality and travel industry and at University studied a degree in Travel & Tourism management. Kate gained her hands on knowledge of the hospitality industry from working in some of Berkshire's best know hotels such as The Compleat Angler and Cliveden House.
Kate joined Lime Blue in August 2007 and has since helped develop accounts such as Pepsico, Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Ethicon Endo Surgery and BP.

Ali Buchanan

After studying at Leeds University for a BA in Physical Education and Psychology, Ali started in the Events industry working for a charity in London. She moved on to Browncroft Events where she gained 5 years Event Management experience specialising in the Pharmaceutical sector and working on events in Rio de Janiero, St Petersburg, Budapest, Barcelona, Paris, Vienna, Rome, Kiev and Belgrade before joining Lime Blue Solutions in January 2010.

Zoe originally worked for Lime Blue Solutions in an administrative role having previously worked in the Events Department at Ipsen. Having decided to concentrate on being a full time Mum to son Harry and his two rabbits, Blossom and Ted, Zoe keeps her hand in the Events Industry working as a freelance Event Manager for Lime Blue.

Claire Rutland
Account Executive
An interest in Venue Finding and Event Management stemmed from working at various events over the years; such as The Henley Royal Regatta, Henley Festival and Bournemouth Rugby 7's. Additionally, the main driver for this career choice for Claire came from obtaining a BA(Hons) Degree in Event Management from Bournemouth University. As part of the degree Claire had a placement year with Lime Blue Solutions and re-joined the team full time in August 2011.

Rachel Waters

After many holidays and trips to various destinations Rachel developed a passion for the travel industry which inspired her to study Travel and Tourism at the Henley College. She also worked at her local leisure centre and Ascot race course where she became involved in organising and running various events. From this strong interest in leisure and events, she then went on to study for a BA Honours Degree in Leisure Marketing at Bournemouth University. As part of her course, Rachel is currently joining us at Lime Blue Solutions for a placement year which will enable her to gain valuable skills and experience for a future career in the industry.
